Bar Admissions
- Idaho, 2014
Jake Bottari is an associate at Monteleone Law Offices, P.L.L.C., where he represents individuals in cases involving personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death, and insurance coverage and bad faith. His practice is focused on advocating for individuals who have suffered serious injuries due to the negligence of others. Jake understands the best results are achieved by preparing every case as if it will be tried to a jury and he approaches each case with that level of commitment.
Prior to joining Monteleone Law Offices, Jake spent nearly a decade practicing at several of Idaho’s most respected insurance defense firms. During that time, he developed extensive experience handling personal injury and complex litigation cases, successfully representing clients in both state and federal courts. His background on the defense side provides him with a unique and strategic perspective that now benefits the individuals he represents, particularly in high-stakes injury and medical malpractice cases.
Since joining Monteleone Law Offices, Jake has gained valuable trial experience in courtrooms throughout Idaho, including serving as co-trial counsel in an underinsured motorist case that resulted in an $800,000 jury verdict for a plaintiff with a traumatic brain injury. He has also briefed and argued cases before the Idaho Supreme Court, including Blasch v. HP, Inc. and Fulfer v. Sorrento Lactalis, Inc., further strengthening his ability to advocate for clients at all stages of litigation.
Jake earned his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from the College of Idaho in 2010, where he also played collegiate baseball, and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Idaho College of Law in 2014. Before joining Monteleone Law Offices, Jake served as a firefighter with the Boise Fire Department and was a licensed EMT, experience that continues to inform his understanding of traumatic injuries and emergency medical care. He has been admitted to the Idaho State Bar since 2014 and is licensed to practice in both state and federal courts throughout Idaho.
Outside of his legal practice, Jake enjoys spending time with his wife, Alex, and their two young daughters. He also takes full advantage of Idaho’s outdoors whenever possible.
